Overview

In addition to honoring outstanding music professionals and preserving the rich musical heritage of the area, the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame is committed to educating and presenting music to people of all ages. It is proud to be sponsoring and supporting many programs including:

  • Musician Medics Program "Playing it Forward" through the comfort of music
  • Denton Cottier & Daniels Music scholarships for budding high school musicians
  • Lucille & Jack Yellen Foundation Songwriter's Scholarship for budding songwriter's up to age 23

  • BMHOF Mobile App - showcasing inducted member performances and BMHOF Events

  • Community Outreach trhough Local Music Festivals including Juneteenth, Sportsmen's Americana Music Festival, Music Is Art and the M&T Bank Lunchtime Series
  • Special presentations including the recent guitar exhibit hosted by the Buffalo Museum of Science
A future goal of the BMHOF is to maintain a permanent facility including displays, plaques, memorabilia and other artifacts relating to the area's vast musical heritage.
