Joey Reynolds currently hosts the U.S. radio program The Joey Reynolds Show on the WOR Radio Network. He is Mr. Nice Guy of Night Radio from coast-to-coast, where his show is the absolute king of the night. Joey rose to national fame as a Top 40-radio personality and many leading authorities in radio name Joey as the person who invented “shock-jock” talk radio. At one point in his multifaceted career, Joey worked for 20th Century-Fox and was instrumental in the development of the “Star Wars” marketing program. Best known locally for his work in the 1960’s and the 1970’s, a young Joey turned several radio markets literally upside-down, gaining huge audience ratings, including in his home town Buffalo at pioneering AM radio giant WKBW, and in Hartford, Cleveland, and Detroit. The Danny and Joey Change-over with BMHOF Member Danny Neaverth (Class of 2000), “Rats In My Room”, and The Royal Order of the Night People are things of legend for his legion of local fans.
