Jack Civiletto

Jack Civiletto

BMHOF Class of 2009

Jack Civiletto started playing guitar at the age of 17. In the 70’s he joined a southern rock band called Peer Pressure Project. Later he formed his own blues band, Win, Lose or Draw who once shared a bill with the legendary blues man, BB King. Currently Jack can be found playing with the Heptones. He is the founding father of the W.N.Y. chapter of the Blues Society and played a major role in making blues music popular again in the Buffalo area, starting the Saturday afternoon matinee gigs at places like Pokey Joe’s and Double “D”. In 2002 he was a finalist in the WNED North American Guitar Competition. Jack now performs the standards of his longtime idol Frank Sinatra along with those of Tony Bennett, Harry Connick Jr. and Michael Buble. Jack performs his spot-on renditions that take us back to the music that he considers “the renaissance of America”.
