Frank is a self-taught guitarist, greatly influenced by his parents who were both classically trained musicians. During his formative years, he performed regularly with a variety of cover bands.

He then worked in original bands such as Oz and Hood Robin until he departed for LA in 1976 where he joined the Terry Williams Band which was signed to record label Warner-Curb.

Returning to Buffalo in 1983, Frank was the guitarist of choice for many top local bands, including Weekend which re-released their CD with some original music such as Frank's "Magic Eyes". He also has established a reputation as a session guitarist and producer of some top local CDs.

Frank continues to wow crowds with his soulful and intricate guitar playing and performs regularly with The Frank Grizanti Band, The Falls Street Rockers, The Fabulous USA Band, Weekend and most recently Anatara.
